On the radioactive Bikini Atoll, a lone female pilot finds herself in a terrifying struggle for control after her world flight attempt ends with a ditching in the Pacific. Stalked by feral, telepathic beings, she’s drawn into a “deranged dance” as they manipulate her thoughts and movements. This harrowing experience unfolds with Anne-Marie Talmage’s athletic movement, guided by Lydia Purves-Ware’s choreographic support. The equally virtuosic score, composed by Joe Kaplan and performed by Cellist April Guthrie and Violist/Violinist Lauren Baba, provides an intense backdrop, while Livya Howard-Yashar lends her voice to the creatures, breathing a disquieting life into the performance.
